Okay. Here's the scenario. Somebody I know within a big company introduced me to a colleague. He said she was leading a project in an area where my services would be relevant.
I had an hour-long conference call with her and two colleagues. They were asking loads of questions and seemed really interested. I sent a follow-up email & made a couple of follow-up calls.
The response is consistent: We will call you when we're ready & we want to take it forward.
So how best to handle this? Do I take them at their word & wait for their call? Or do I stay in touch (how?) and risk annoying them by appearing to 'pester'? Advice please!
