Has anyone noticed that the Company Accounts Look Up facility has been down for weeks and weeks? Is there a problem and will it every return as it is most useful?
Hmmm, I agree Tina1, the silence from eveyone is deafening and says it all. Unless someone from this site advises otherwise, I think it's safe to kiss the Accounts LookUp Facility goodbye.
Could someone from the SME Hub please comment?
I'm as exasperated as you are! But I can assure you it isn't 'curtains' for the Company Accounts facility. Let me explain. A few weeks ago we changed the website address and the name of this website from The SME Hub to B2 Business Hub. Everything on the website changed over properly except this, because it was on a 'sub-domain'. And the person who had set up the sub-domain has left the company, leaving us scratching our head about the coding. We have just appointed somebody new, and it's a high priority for them to get it sorted. Apologies to everyone.
Dave, still nothing. Is this still being worked on at the moment please as it is extremely useful? Thanks
I'm delighted to say that the Company Accounts LookUp facility is back in action.
Any member of B2 Business Hub now has access to this valuable resource - and membership is free!
This hasn't been working for a couple of days now, will it be mended soon?!
Any news on when this will be working again? My last post on here from 1 week 3 days ago was deleted (still showing in the comments feed though :s)
No sooner had we overcome the technical issues than we ran into some contractual ones.
It is frustrating for you - and doubly frustrating for us because we know this is one of the most popular parts of the website!
I think it's unlikely we are going to have this matter resolved before the beginning of August. But I will keep moving as quickly as possible.
Please accept my apologies.
Thanks for the update Dave, look forward to you getting it resolved!
Any news on whether this will ever be working again?
This really is a bit of a joke! As far as I can see this service has hardly been working for most of this year!
Let's have a bit of professionalism from this site and let us know if, or when, the service will again be accessible?
I joined simply to get account info on another company - think I may have been 'caught' and will probably receive loads of spam..... anyone else had spam?
Apologies once again for the fact the Company Accounts facility is still unavailable. It's frustrating all round!
We negotiated a deal for the supply of the data & invested in software development to allow Hub members to view the information at no charge.
A while later the deal fell through. So we set about negotiating a similar deal with alternative suppliers. We have not been successful yet - though we have not given up hope.
If we had charged anyone for a subscription on the basis of the provision of the Company Accounts lookup service, we would happily refund those subscriptions. But since we haven't there is not a lot I can do other than to say we're sorry we can't provide this free service at the moment. And when / if we can, I will be delighted to announce the fact.
Please update us with progress - your last update was 14 Sept
We are still working toward resolving this. In the meantime, you might like to try www.levelbusiness.com which goes some way to offering a similar service
Many thanks - very helpful. Good luck in getting a solution for b2b

Yes, it hasn't gone unnoticed...Nor has the fact that no one appears to have responded to you in the last week over this issue!
I getting the feeling we should toss up as to which of us should turn the light out as we close the door behind us...I wonder if anyone would ever notice either way?
