Morning all... anyone out there frustrated by Windows ? I have just completely switched to Linux... which I think used to be for geeks only... if you only really use the computer for basic stuff like mail, browsing accounts and nothing bespoke you should look at it... I have just put ubuntu 10 on my slightly aging dell and its going like a rocket...and I am told its virtually impregnable to viruses, as there are hundreds of versions... you can try it just running from the disc, so no danger and....... it looks like an APPLE... but £6 for the operating system..... noooooooo contest.
