Hello all!
I got an email from this website thanking me for joining - but I hadn't joined! And, in addition, they gave the wrong spelling of my name! LOL! Never mind, it seems a decent site so I'll stick around.
Now, this has nothing to do with anything anyone is chatting about, but how do I change my password on here? I've searched all through the site, but I can't see any way of doing it - and an email to 'The Powers That Be' has elicited not a sausage!
Anyone?

Thank you for your comments - we do read them and take them seriously.
We're currently working hard to reinstate the ability for the user to autonomously change their password and we plan to have this fixed by the end of next week. In the meantime please continue to use the password you currently have. We'll let everyone know when the password facility has been reinstated.
Keep an eye on your Hubbles! No free space telescopes alas but you will earn Hubbles (points) when you contribute to the site, e.g. a forum posting, voting on a poll or (in time) submitting an article. There are other ways to earn points which we'll introduce later. You will then be able to redeem your Hubbles against future special offers, so keep watching!

I forgot my password, so requested a temporary one which enabled me to log in but then there is no where to change my password! I notice somebody else posted this problem in July. When will it be sorted please?

I'm pleased to say that we resolved this issue this morning. To change your password:
- Click on "My Account" under "My Control Panel" in the top left corner of every screen.
- Click on "Edit"
- Click on "Change Password"
