We know the answer!
Take a look in the Get More section of the website. Amongst the (many) things available for members is a free download of a Marketing White Paper based on research conduscted by The SME Voice (which works in partnership with The SME Hub).
There's lots of really interesting results in the document - but on page 28 you will find out what are the most popular days of the week and what times of day are the best for contacting SMEs.
I would say best times are early or late afternoons - but not a Friday! Never in the mornings
