I need someone to create a website for me. I am currently unemployed and can not afford to pay for this service, but I want to stop depending on Jobseekers Allowance and build a business for myself. Can anyone help, or advise where I should go for help?

Agree with Dave - know where you are going
And if you do know, why not go to your local college as they will be running courses that contain webdesign elements for the students. You'll probably find that the college would love a real life web project for a student or team...
Whilst your spirit of enterprise is to be applauded, I think it might be helpful if you explained what you want to do with your website. Simply having a website doesn't make money. What will you be selling?
